Say hello to the Wallace Family! The
weather in Texas has had a mind of its own lately! We had to reschedule a
few times with the cold wet weather that slammed Texas last week!
Finally the weather was great and we met up for a Family session! I hope
you love!

Heart Walk Fall 2013
It was that time of year again!
Everyone came together in Huntsville for the Heart Walk! I always enjoy
being apart of this day - seeing the positivity and the friends and
family coming together is amazing! And all for a good cause!
Sorry it took awhile for this post! Cody and I moved, plus with the Holidays - the editing got a bit behind! I hope you like!

Baby Paisley Ann
Everyone meet the cutest new addition
to the Fanning family! We met up with Crystal and Paisley for an early
morning country session! I just adore how these turned out! Its so
incredibly sweet - and gave me my baby fix! :]
The Cumby Family
Okay, is this not the cutest family? I
met up with Jonathan, Felicia and Jaxon last week for a fun family
session! The lighting was wonderful and the temperature was perfect.
I adore these photos, and I hope you all to do! Schedule your family session soon for those Christmas cards! :]

Moving While Staying Still - Fine Art Post
**Personal - Fine Art Session Post - Continue on if you are looking for Family and Wedding related event photography.
You hear folks say life is continuously moving. Sometimes its hard to just stay still and take a moment to just be.
It seems lately my life is almost having a different sort of view on this - it seems everything is moving so fast but I am just standing still. And everything around me is this chaotic movement.
But honestly I enjoy this chaotic movement. And though it may seem I am standing still, I am moving with it, but slower - to take in my surroundings, learn from them and savor the memories.
I am at peace with this fast pace, still movement. That's life.
I wanted to portray this in a picture and I had multiple ideas just going thru my head, but my biggest struggle was how to represent it. I have always been fond of dancing and of folks interpretation of what not only the movement but the feelings thru the movements are. Whether its ballet or krump - there is emotion.
Of course I contacted Savanna and asked if she had a tutu! I previously posted a picture called 'The Hands that Mold us' (see few sessions below) but it took me a while to focus on what I wanted to portray with this 'chaotic movement' original idea.

Deborah & Kevin - Engagement/Family Session
The first time I spoke to Deborah she
informed me she was marrying into a family! That Kevin had two precious
children! She wanted the session to include them and the fact that they
were all coming together!
So that's exactly what we did! We started the session with the whole family - having fun and being carefree on the beach! While it was slightly chilly - it was a perfect morning! We moved the session toward just Kevin and Deborah at the end and the lighting was perfect!
I am so excited I got to have this engagement/family session on the beach! It was perfect! I hope you like these photos!

Happy Halloween! - Fine Art Session
**Personal - Fine Art Session Post - Continue on if you are looking for Family and Wedding related event photography.
Today a photographer who I look up to and follow wholeheartedly, Brooke Shaden, posted on her Facebook, 'Inspire yourself everyday. Be the leader in your life adventures.'
I had a impromptu session scheduled with Savanna today, I have been scheduling them that way more often now, but they are therapy for me - and Savanna is always understanding. After seeing Brooke Shaden's post today, I wanted to push myself and try new adventures.
I already knew I wanted to go for a 'Chaotic Ballerina' theme (I have something in the works and might be working with professional dancers soon, so I am sure this theme will carry on!) and again with Halloween around the corner I wanted to do something...eerie.
I think this was the SHORTEST session I have ever had with Savanna but we had limited light and I got caught up with saving a dog right before the session (okay really it was just a lost dog in the neighborhood, but lost dogs always have a place in my heart and I have to find their home).
We literally had this session in my back yard, which was also a first!
The first edit of the evening (more to come in future posting) but to start things off here is
'The hands that mold us'
The representation of this photo, to me, is not as eerie as it looks...but you can define the photo how you wish! I'd love to know how it comes across to you or what you feel from looking at it! Feel free to comment!
These hands are all Savanna - and to me it represents that no matter what anyone says, that our own personal choices shape who we are and what we become. And while there might be circumstances around us, that we cannot control - how we react to those circumstances, continue to define us. And help mold us into who we are.
