If I could present someone my example
of goodness, it would be Tiffany. She is beauty. And when she first
contacted me about wedding photography, I told myself, Sydney you have
to be apart of this. This will be special. This will be love.
And indeed it was. The day was filled with close friends and family. And throughout the day Tiffany was
glowing. Eric was thrilled to see her, and because we did a 'first look'
with the Bride and Groom, I got to capture some sweet, private moments
between them.
Tiffany and Eric had a Maid of Honor and a
Best Woman. They also had Honorary Bridesmaids, and Tiffany serenaded
them with songs she wrote to the tune of Disney songs about each of
them, how they met and things they did growing up together. (I mean is
there anything she can't do?)
Most know already, but I am a giant sap, so you know I teared up a bit - but still managed to capture the moments!
Tiffany and Eric, you may never know how much I appreciate being apart
of something so magical. I hope your honeymoon was perfect and that you
got to continue on with the fairy tale at Disney! Here is a preview of
your wedding, I hope you love them!

Crystal & Brian - State Park Wedding
At the beginning of this month, I had
the honor of photographing an old friend of mine on her special day.
Crystal and I were on dance team together in High School. And I was
totally stoked about being apart of her Wedding.
Crystal had every little detail prepared for the day. It was amazing to see all her ideas come together! I think my favorite might have been the s'more bar. ;]
Brian & Crystal - I had so much fun photographing your Wedding! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of something so wonderful. Here are a few of my favorites from your day - I hope you enjoy!

Crystal's Bridals - Huntsville, TX
Crystal Gaskins and I had to reschedule this bridal session almost TWICE. Dang Texas weather was getting its seasons all mixed up and storming every time we scheduled! Luckily this particular day, the rain disappeared and we ventured out and got some beautiful shots!
Now that Crystal got married this weekend, I can officially share with you some of my favorite images from her bridal session! :]

April Fine Art/Conceptual Photography Session - 'Spring Awakening'
**This is a fine art/conceptual photography post. To view more work by SPP that is wedding related, family or portraits, please continue to the next post.**
I am still keeping my goal of a fine art/conceptual photography session a month!
And here is April's! I think this was one of the hardest shoots that
I have done, mostly because I was requesting a lot from Savanna, my muse.
I wanted to paint her upper body, which required her to fully trust me...
and to deal with paint on her body. While the latex paint idea was great in
theory and produced lovely images - we quickly learned it was a pain
(literally) to get off. Warm water and a rag helped. I am truly greatful
for her trusting me and being apart of some of my favorite images so far
this year.
The theme is Spring and I call this group of images - 'Spring Awakening'. A
special thank you to my grandmother for allowing us to paint in her garden.
And of course to Savanna for allowing me to paint her and create art. These
images to me celebrate new life and the joy spring brings.
Lindsey & Jayson - Engagement Session
Lindsey and Jason's engagement session was a lot of fun! We visited some new locations and had a blast!
When Lindsey first saw Jayson, she said she was thinking about how cute he was and that she had to talk to him. Jayson wondered who was this pretty lady talking to him...and the rest is history. :]
We met on the square and visited a few antique shops here in Huntsville to start of the session. Shout out to 12 Street Antiques and a Niche in Time for letting us use your space!
Here some of my favorites! :]
