Beth Compton is a dear friend of mine from work and Zumba! Her children are growing up so fast and now that Spring is upon us, (which in Texas means bluebonnets) we just had to get together to get some pictures! Everyone meet Brionna, Landen and Key! :] I just love how these turned out!

The Allen Family
Dadadada...snapsnap...(okay yes I was singing the Adams Family song when I typed this title...don't judge me!)
This is the Allen Family! I knew the Allen's a long time ago when I attended my parents church and it was great to catch up with them again and see how much their family has grown! We started with some newborn photos of baby Cora. She is just a month old and gave me my baby fix since my sister has moved to North Carolina with her kids! Heather and Clint have such beautiful children! What do you think?

March - BIRTHDAYS!
So, I don't know about you but I love love birthdays.
I actually celebrate mine probably 2-3 times during the month of December. (It's so close to Christmas, so its totally okay that I do this...)
March is an extremely busy month for me. Yes, with working but also with BIRTHDAYS.
First. (And he is probably glad he is first. Since he's the boss...or at least I let him think so...). This is my fiance Cody Lee (as I call him). And he isn't such a big fan of birthdays, so I make it a big deal for him! He is the technical brains when it comes to all this, so I do not know what I would do without him. Thanks babe and Happy Birthday!
Second. My future brother in law. Cory. The brother I never had. I have watched him grow up, and now he is taller than me! Happy 18th Birthday Cory!
*Interesting fact...Cody and Cory were born on the same day...3/7, but 5 years apart!
Third. My Bayleigh Belle. I miss her so much. She is my niece. And she recently just moved to North Carolina and turned 4 on the eleventh! I miss her high pitch voice screaming 'Ninnyyyyy!' and running towards me. I cannot wait to see you at the wedding in November Bay! You will be such a pretty flower girl! Happy Birthday! Ninny loves you!
Fourth. My Mum. She stresses me out sometimes, pushes me sometimes, but I don't know what I would do without her. She's always there to listen to the daily issues I have, gives advice and her opinion, even if it's something I might not want to hear. She always tells me the truth. And makes ahmmazing gin spritzers! Happy Birthday Mum! [Pictured below with her Mother.]
And of course, my sister - Madison. I cannot believe you moved so far away. And I miss you terribly and all our inside jokes. I cannot wait to see you in November. I might just tackle you with hugs. [And I have been working out with Alyssa, so you might want to wear some extra padding]. :] Happy Happy Birthday! I will buy you a drink when you come home, as long as your not pregnant! teheee!
I love each and everyone of you. Thanks for being apart of my life and this journey!

Inmar&Belkys - Engagements
So one day, I received a phone call from an old pal (okay she isn't old, but we were bffs back in middle school), Siomara. She said her brother was getting married, had saw my work and wanted to meet me. I met up with Inmar and Belkys, and I just have to say, they are the sweetest couple! The date we had scheduled to originally meet up, was just nothing but RAIN. Leave it to Texas. Hot, cold, rainy, dry. That's just a typical week in Texas.
We met up, 2 weeks later and the weather was BEAUTIFUL. I just about died from happiness when I saw their outfits! This session was sooooo much fun, and Inmar and Belkys were just naturals! I adore these photos and this couple so much! Here are my favorites! (IF you want to view MORE, check out my facebook page!)

She believed she could, so she did. - Personal
Photography is something I have always loved. About 4 years, I had thought about doing it for a living, but had the voices of people in my head telling me it wasn't a good idea and that I shouldn't do it. When I finally decided it was what I was going to do, because it is what makes me happy, I felt good. I felt free.
Then came the more voices of people telling me it wasn't a good idea, in this market. And I began comparing myself to others. And doubted myself.
I found a photographer online during that time that inspired me. Not by her work (though I am such a huge fan), but by her words. Jasmine Star, (who all of a sudden I am referring to her like we are bffs, because I would like to think if I ever met her, we would just start chatting about everything!) posted a personal post on her blog and it had a few inspiration quotes. One was 'She believed she could, so she did.' I immediately printed it off and stuck it on my cork board in my cubicle at my other job (as I tend to call it), and wrote down goals for myself. Not just things I wanted to do, but things I wanted to remember to tell myself daily. Besides the actual quote, to not compare myself or my work to others. I create what I do, and I know I have much to learn, but I will not give up. My photography will published one day in a wedding magazine, I will go to Europe for a wedding one day, I will be hired for a fashion editorial in Harper's Bazaar one day, and my stories will become novels you can buy one day!
I decided in order to remind myself this, even thru the hard days, I wanted something permanent. So I did this:
To all those out there, trying, dreaming of something bigger - you can do it. Just believe you can.

Savanna - Fashion
Me and Savanna go way back. Wayyyyyyyy back. And by that I mean, like we were like 8 years old and friends! It was lovely to meet up with her again and catch up! Talk about Lady Gaga and Europe! We walked around the square here in Huntsville and had people stop, honk, talk to us, and take pictures! Let's just say she is a crowd stopper! I am so excited about these photos, I can hardly stand it, and cannot wait to work with her and her friend Hannah in the near future!
