It was a beautiful Saturday morning when I pulled
up to the Tilley house. There was a crispness in the air, and a slight
breeze that made their American flag toss in the wind.
I walked in to their home and immediately felt at home. They Tilley's
are like that - inviting you in to chat, play games and just be - but
this time I was there to meet the newest edition to their family - Kate!
Sometimes I forget how small we all start out as. Kate was precious -
and hungry - but also the cutest tiniest thing I have ever seen!
I am
honored to capture this family during their adaptation to handling two
sweet babies! (okay, Logan is not much more of a baby more - but look at
those cheeks!)

Weather is uncontrollable...and so are
toddlers. Sometimes you have to talk about pizza, puddles of water and
say you can do it better than they can to get them to participate in a
photo shoot. But you know what you get? Priceless memories!
I
was going to just post a few...but then I fell in love with so many of
these photos. This past Saturday I met up with my dear friends the
Tilley's. Kari, Steven and I used to work at TDCJ together. Kari was one the first ladies I
took bridals of, and I did their maternity session when she was pregnant
with Logan and got to capture his sweet newborn pictures.
Now the Tilley
family is growing and they are expecting baby Kate this November. I
can't wait to meet her and get some more pictures of this sweet family!
