**Personal - Fine Art Session Post - Continue on if you are looking for Family and Wedding related event photography.
Today a photographer who I look up to and follow wholeheartedly, Brooke Shaden, posted on her Facebook, 'Inspire yourself everyday. Be the leader in your life adventures.'
I had a impromptu session scheduled with Savanna today, I have been scheduling them that way more often now, but they are therapy for me - and Savanna is always understanding. After seeing Brooke Shaden's post today, I wanted to push myself and try new adventures.
I already knew I wanted to go for a 'Chaotic Ballerina' theme (I have something in the works and might be working with professional dancers soon, so I am sure this theme will carry on!) and again with Halloween around the corner I wanted to do something...eerie.
I think this was the SHORTEST session I have ever had with Savanna but we had limited light and I got caught up with saving a dog right before the session (okay really it was just a lost dog in the neighborhood, but lost dogs always have a place in my heart and I have to find their home).
We literally had this session in my back yard, which was also a first!
The first edit of the evening (more to come in future posting) but to start things off here is
'The hands that mold us'
The representation of this photo, to me, is not as eerie as it looks...but you can define the photo how you wish! I'd love to know how it comes across to you or what you feel from looking at it! Feel free to comment!
These hands are all Savanna - and to me it represents that no matter what anyone says, that our own personal choices shape who we are and what we become. And while there might be circumstances around us, that we cannot control - how we react to those circumstances, continue to define us. And help mold us into who we are.

Crystal & Brian - Engagement Session
Crystal is a dear friend of mine from
back in High School! We were on our dance team together! She was always
full of energy and had a contagious smile! When she announced her
engagement, I was so stoked for her! Brian compliments her perfectly and
this session was so much...fun! It was filled with laughter, jokes,
dancing and talk about waffle fries! Here are some of my favorites! :]
Haley - Portrait Session
Haley is a Senior this year! :] We got
together this past Sunday for a fun session! The weather was cool and
cloudy, but we still had fun! And Haley was a pro! Haley, I hope you and
your Mother love these pictures! I had so much fun working with you! I
hope the rest of your Senior year is amazing! :]

Fine Art - 'Deep in the Forest'
**Personal - Fine Art Session Post - Continue on if you are looking for Family and Wedding related event photography.
I received a text message about a week ago from my dear friend Savanna Conner, informing me she had found some weird trees (she knows how much I LOVE weird trees!).
We decided to meet up at the location a few days later. That morning she had sent me a text about a quote she had thought about that reminded her of me.
'Beauty will be convulsive or not at all.' - Andre Brenton
I sat on my thoughts for the quote for awhile. And what it specifically meant to me. About beauty, passion and how we view beauty. Through all our senses.
The area brought more thoughts to my mind once we arrived. The lighting was perfect, Savanna - of course - was gorgeous!
We were feeling a bit dark and raw with our emotions, being out in nature - I thought it was a good time to go dark with Halloween approaching - and Savanna just jumped right in fearless as ever.
The final products I feel are mesmerizing! I adore working with Savanna and I hope everyone enjoys these photos!
Please feel free to comment on these pictures and say what they make you feel! I am very curious how the images comes across to each and every one of you!
